凯特·摩斯（Kate Mosse）
1961年10月生于英国，因著有国际畅销书《圣卷谜宗》（Labyrinth）以及创办了国际著名的文学奖项“橘子奖”（The Orange Prize）而闻名世界，其作品已被翻译成42种语言在多国出版，畅销数百万册。
摩斯在西苏塞克斯郡长大，分别获得了牛津大学和奇切斯特大学的荣誉文学硕士学位。她在英国出版界工作过7年，曾先后就职于霍德和斯托顿（Hodder&Stoughton）出版公司、世纪（Century）出版公司、兰登书屋旗下的哈钦森（Hutchinson）出版公司并担任编辑总监。1989年，她和丈夫在法国西南部朗格多克区的卡卡颂购置了一套房产，这给她带来了写作的灵感，她因此而创作了多部历史时空穿越小说。1992年，她离开出版界，开始了她的写作生涯，并着手帮助建立新的文学奖项“橘子奖”。
