蒂姆·奥布莱恩，美国作家。生于美国明尼苏达州沃辛顿，1968年毕业于圣保罗的麦卡莱斯特学院。1966至1970年，他作为步兵在越南服役。战后，他在哈佛大学攻读政府学研究生课程，后担任《华盛顿邮报》的国家事务记者。现居于马萨诸塞。
